Docker Updates Report

The Docker Updates report shows current Docker image update exposure across managed endpoints.

Open Reporting > Docker updates.

Filters

Use the filters to narrow the report by:

  • endpoint
  • repository
  • update type

Selected filters are shown above the report and can be removed individually.

Endpoint filtering uses a searchable endpoint selector. Repository filtering supports selecting multiple repositories. Update type filters include newer tag availability and digest changes.

Report Tabs

The report includes:

  • affected images, with current and recommended image information
  • endpoint impact, showing which endpoints are affected
  • check failures, showing update checks that need attention

Rows link to Docker inventory or endpoint pages where you can inspect the affected item.

Affected Images

The affected images table shows:

  • image
  • update type
  • current tag and digest
  • recommended tag and digest
  • affected container and endpoint counts
  • last checked and last seen timestamps

Image links open the Docker image inventory detail page.

Endpoint Impact

The endpoint impact tab shows affected endpoints with tenant, affected container count, and affected image count.

Endpoint links open the endpoint overview.

Check Failures

The check failures tab shows images whose update checks need attention, including:

  • image
  • check status
  • affected container and endpoint counts
  • reported error detail

Use this tab when update data is missing or stale because Ordyn could not complete an image check.

When To Use It

Use this report to find containers running outdated images, identify endpoints with broad exposure, and investigate image update checks that failed.
