Users

The Users page manages administrator accounts that can sign in to Ordyn.

Open Administration > Users.

User List

The table shows:

  • user name
  • email address
  • group memberships
  • super admin or scoped access state
  • password authentication state

Use the page to:

  • search users
  • create users
  • edit user details
  • assign users to user groups
  • delete users that should not have access

Group Assignment

Users receive normal product access through user groups.

When editing a user, select one or more groups from the group combobox. Selected groups appear below the combobox and can be removed before saving.

The user receives the scoped roles attached to those groups.

If a user has no group assignment and is not a super admin, the user can sign in but only sees the limited access page.

User Security Options

The user form supports:

  • disabling password authentication
  • setting a password during creation
  • changing a password during edit by entering a replacement password
  • granting super admin access, when the signed-in operator can manage super admins

Disable password authentication only after the user has another supported sign-in method, such as a passkey.

Deleting Users

Deleting a user removes the account from active sign-in and future ownership checks.

Audit and history entries keep the actor name recorded at the time of the action, so past activity remains understandable after a user is deleted.
