Library

The Library menu contains reusable building blocks that other Ordyn areas use.

Use Library pages to maintain shared definitions before assigning them to endpoints, groups, jobs, packages, or deployment workflows.

Library Areas

  • Configuration Profiles, for reusable endpoint configuration checks and remediation.
  • Alert Rules, for endpoint health and state alerts.
  • Scripts, for reusable script definitions.
  • Files, for uploaded managed files.
  • Windows Accounts, for reusable Windows credentials backed by secrets.
  • Secrets, for sensitive values used by jobs, scripts, packages, and settings.
  • Variables, for reusable values with scoped overrides.
  • Collectors, for endpoint data collection definitions.
  • Import, for importing JSON definitions and complete jobs with portable dependencies.
  • Complete Job Bundle Format, for generating importable job archives with scripts, collectors, files, and icons.

Folders

Many Library pages support folders. Folders help organize large collections and can be used in permission scopes where the related feature supports folder-scoped access.

When a page has a folder sidebar, use the folder actions menu to create folders and move items. Items can also appear at the root level when they are not assigned to a folder.
