Update Inventory

Update Inventory shows operating system updates observed on endpoints.

Open Inventory > Updates.

Views

The page supports update-focused and endpoint-focused views.

Use it to find:

  • missing updates
  • installed updates
  • endpoints affected by a selected update
  • update inventory that needs follow-up

Update Inventory is also used by job tasks that scan or apply endpoint updates.

Update List

The update list shows:

  • update title
  • KB article IDs
  • support article link, when reported
  • classification
  • severity
  • missing endpoint count
  • installed endpoint count
  • last seen timestamp

Use the table controls to search by update title, filter by classification or severity, and sort by title, classification, severity, missing count, installed count, or last seen time.

The list loads more rows as you scroll.

Update Detail

Open an update to see installed and missing counts, first seen and last seen timestamps, and the endpoints related to that update.

The endpoint table marks whether each endpoint reports the update as missing or installed. Use the endpoint table toolbar to search, filter, sort, choose columns, and refresh the affected endpoint list.

Endpoint-Focused View

The endpoint update view lets you start from an endpoint and inspect its reported update state. Use this when troubleshooting one device, and use the update-focused view when planning across the fleet.
